Beerfest Asia 2010

Beerfest Asia 2010

20th June 2010 (Sunday) marks the day that I attended Beerfest Asia 2010. I wanted to get tickets for 19th June 2010 (Saturday) so that I can hang around later but it was already sold out. The event was held at Marina Promenade (F1 tracks behind Singapore Flyer).

Beerfest Asia 2010

Beerfest Asia 2010 is starting at 6pm and there was already a queue waiting to go in at around 5.50pm. This is the second year that Beerfest Asia is running and offer the opportunities to sample over 250 kinds of beers!

Beerfest Asia 2010

Collected my “1-Day OCBC Exclusive” tickets which I paid in-advance with OCBC credit card for S$12 each.

Beerfest Asia 2010

The “1-Day OCBC Exclusive” ticket comes with 2 redeemable beer. I had initially thought that we can choose the 2 beers that we wanted but at the entrance, we were given a redeemed beer each and another beer token (black) to redeem the other beer of choice in the event. The redeemed beer didn’t come with any label as it must have peeled off while in the ice bath. I had a peek at other attendees’ bottle and it’s actually “Super Bock“. My partner finds it up to her liking!

Beerfest Asia 2010

Sol beer, imported bottled beer from Mexico.

Jaz Beer and Starker from Malaysia. Starker won the gold at Asia Beer Awards for wheat beer category. Wheat beer is my top favorite and I didn’t managed to try Starker… 🙁

A Week in Singapore 1

Another week have passed by. A group of folks handling some devices which I am not able to identify. From far, it’s looks like the drip used in hospital. LOL! Taken from my kitchen window.

A Week in Singapore 1

Having lunch at a restaurant (coffee shop style).

A Week in Singapore 1

Going through the menu and trying to determine what to order. Finally, decided on having Dim Sum.

A Week in Singapore 1

For starters – Shredded Chicken Porridge. Need to add a bit of soy sauce to bring it to taste.

A Week in Singapore 1

Then the whole load of Dim Sum arrived at the same time – Shao mai, har gow (shrimp dumpling), char siu baau, rice noodle roll (cheong fun) and lotus leaf rice (lo mai gai). Burp!!

A Week in Singapore 1

The Body Shop was having 20% store wide discount so I decided give Nettle Oil Balance Shampoo a try. So far it’s working well by removing excess oil but yet doesn’t irritate or dry up my scalp.

A Week in Singapore 1

Some food shopping from a local supermarket – 2 Fruit Tree juice at S$4.55 and 1 Kiwifruit Gold at S$4.15.

A Week in Singapore 1

Water fountain outside of VivoCity.

Tangs was having a sale bazaar in VivoCity.

A Week in Singapore 1

The bridge leading from VivoCity to Sentosa. The construction that is on-going on the right is “Resort World at Sentosa“.

A Week in Singapore 1

Walking towards Brotzeit which is a German bier bar and restaurant. Bier is the German and Dutch word for beer.

After – Unsigned 1.40 OliNex, DeepShining 8.0 Service Pack 0.3 and Radio 1.09.25.23. Running fine except there’s a few minor flaws but I am still pretty satisfied with it. For more details on flashing, go xda-developers.com.

A Week in Singapore 1

Usually we don’t go to huge departmental stores to get our fragrance as some smaller shops tend to have better pricing. Both are from Banana Republic – Alabaster for Woman S$85 and Slate for Man S$85.

Another round of replenishing food at local supermarket. 🙂

  • The instant noodles and soup are for hungry situations
